Got an email last night/early this morning after my shift would have ended - was no work Mon anyways. Missed the 9 am conference call. Emailed to tell them I missed the call, told to call HR. Called them & oh so sorry, due to lack of work, yada, yada, yada. You'll get a severance package.. Gee thanks for that. Thanks for nothing after 10+ years of working off shifts, on shifts, holiday/weekends, on-call, pay decreases etc. Already filed unemployment. Shouldn't be surprised though. They lost a ton of business since end of June & their stock tanked. CEO has dumped a load of his own stock holdings. Underpaid, overworked and truly underappreciated. This is great motivation to GTFO of this business once and for all.
