IC straight typing - AHDI member

I have met people hiring for these positions, or people who knew of someone was hiring, face to face at AHDI events. Other members may email when they hear of something. I do not know of any such MT companies hiring right now. General and legal transcription companies also hire MTs for straight typing. Some work may be verbatim or have multiple voices. Such companies include Alice Darling, Allegis, Chromolume, Eword Solutions, Landmark Associates, Inc.,
Verbal Ink to name just a few. There are people applying for Social Security Disability and Work Comp all the time. Contracts transcribing the independent medical examination evaluation reports are out there. This work is not going to speech rec. The boat is not sinking, but you do need to cast the net wider and think outside the railings.
