In order to answer your question, I would need to know just what you use your mouse for. As far as the foot pedal, there is no way NOT using your foot pedal would be faster. May I ask who suggested that using a foot pedal is slower than using what I presume are F keys?
Anyway, if you could give me an idea of what you use the mouse for, I could give some suggestions. I also use MSWord and only use the mouse minimally and only as a last resort.
