Wow. You are one of the lucky ones. I too have been an MT since 1978. Used to work in-house and SO much different. My last job (laid off in 2007), was making 18.50. an hour plus bonus. I miss the good old days! I just don't understand how hospitals are saving money by outsourcing. On the ladder the MT is last, then all the team leaders, blah, blah up.
