I also wanted to say that no brick and mortar employer would get away with cutting employees' pay in half for the same job without someone hauling them into court, I know of no job where salaries get cut like this, there is supposed to be an entry level rate, increases and a ceiling. AAMT/AHDI had the power to implement salary guidelines for US transcriptionists and disseminate that information to employers but did nothing. I don't know if anyone has ever sought legal counsel in this regard, but it probably needs to be addressed.
