They were simply a bunch of old biddies who thought they knew everything about everything and convinced the hospitals that they did. Yep, sell that NEW AND IMPROVED Book of Style after people spent money on volumes #1 and #2-- change all the "rules" of grammar and punctuation and how to do transcription. Then get all the Indian MTs "certified" to fill their coffers with more money when the U.S. MTs (like me) wised up and dropped our CMTs. I always wondered who died and left them in charge of MT in the first place? Nobody but themselves and people fell for it.
