Pay per audio minute versus cpl - MT

Posted: Aug 31st, 2017 - 7:20 am In Reply to: Which is more? - Jellybean

It's difficult to compare, but I think 40 cents per minute of audio is considered low pay, while 8 cents per line isn't a fortune, but I think it would pay more. I've read advice online to never accept less than $1.00 per audio minute. If it takes you 4 minutes to complete 1 audio minute (this is an average speed), that would be $6.00 per hour. If you're really fast and can complete a minute of audio in only 3 minutes, you would earn $8.00 per hour. Compare this to 8 cents per line, depending on how many lines you can do per hour.
