Yes, even lower. 40 cents a page, depending on the client. Yes, it's legal documents.

What amazes me is someone who works for the company actually talked about it like it was decent pay, making $5 an hour or on a good day $8 an hour, being minimum wage in some states, which isn't bad for just blah blah (as if it's all right to be paid *&^% because you're just sitting at home typing).

I think people who are satisfied working here see their earnings as a supplement rather than a living income. But even as a supplement, it's very low (it's hard to even make $5 a hour). Imagine making $5 an hour and also paying an accountant to figure out taxes. You'd probably break even, that is, profit = 0.

It's so unbelievable makes me feel as if I'm in the Twilight Zone and it's 1970 rather than 2017 because in 1970 it would be good pay.

Anyway, I'm wondering what if the line is shorter than 65 characters? What if, say, one line is about 20 characters and another line is 40 characters? Would these two lines then be basically considered one line?
