Career Step - Career Step

I would not take out loans to further your education. The Career Step course is a few thousand. You would need to be prepared to make nothing during the course and little money at first. If you take the course, there are forums of supportive students and graduates who will assist you as well as a year of graduate support through the school following graduation. I also recommend you join the professional organization, AHDI, which is free to students. Medical records are not prepared the way they used to be, many doctors use a menu-based system, and the industry is indeed different than it used to be. There are still hospital jobs, but not as many. There are many small and medium companies handling things like Social Security Disability exam reports and personal injury reports, which work is different than the clinic and surgical reports others have made lots of money on in the past. It is still possible to make $1000 or $2000 a month parttime as a supplemental income from home. If you need more money and have the capability of going out to work, there would be more probability of being able to find higher paying work in some other field.
