This IS a dying profession. I have been a MT for 40 years and in a few years I am retiring thank God. Years ago we made an excellent living but now, we are paid basically 4 cents per line. Top that with a crappy account and you'll be lucky to make minimum wage. We are not kidding - you need to make another choice. If I was 15-20 years younger, I would be in the RN course.
