I use Turbotax Home and Business - not C-EZ

You can read all the publications about preparing your taxes at irs.gov. You need to pay attention to all the things which may be deductible as business expenses, for business use of a percentage of your home, a percentage of your utility bills, converting furniture such as a chair, computer desk, and bookshelves to business use for depreciation purposes, writing off computers, software, books, etc in the year of purchase for the business, etc. The software will make the calculations for you but you need to keep the records and know what you can deduct.
