That note sounds like a manager-type, trying to sell a bill of goods.
It needs to be stressed that if the OP has been out of MT for years, it's a problem, whether the field is good or bad. One can't be out of MT for years and be okay just jumping back in, particularly if it's acute care. Clinic? Maybe. But how much clinic transcription is even there anymore?
