Again, the terms "unhinged" and "crazy" only serve to minimize and discredit the feelings of thousands affected by Nuance's "mistake."
The nature of remote employment makes it hard to unionize or form collective bargaining units. Therefore, this forum which may have begun as something different has evolved into the main way Nuance employees can touch base and finally realize that they are not alone or a unique situation, they are one of many who are feeling the same way and dealing with the same betrayal.
There is a different purpose to the forum now. It is to pass along information and encourage others to act on what is legal and right.
Nuance has the upper hand when workers are out of touch and cut off from one another. This forum is a threat to that and attempts to shame workers into not giving voice to their anger is like asking them to go back to being isolated, downtrodden, and unsupported.
