Bury your head in the sand and watch it crumble around you. That's what I did. I was thankful for that $21 an hour with great benefits, FT employee status---until it got ate up by Amphion/iMEDX and no one was making more than $9-$12 an hour--no one I knew. Sure, maybe somebody who had the gravy, but I don't think anyone on our account was. Now, change is never easy, but this was murder, out and out murder. Thankfully, I have re-tooled and moved on to greener pastures---and I do mean greener. Transcription is dead, but you keep telling people to buck up and just do their jobs....that's what they tell the slaves at McDonald's too.
