Nuance will let you hang around as long as you're willing.
It's up to you to decide to leave and apply for UE.
When they outsourced all my work back in February, I applied for UE and received UE. Nuance didn't even respond.
Nuance knows they can't deny your UE when your hours go from 40 to 10 or less or you have documented OOW situations every day.
Even if they did deny, I was prepared. They couldn't deny my accounts had been outsourced/offshored if asked during an appeal meeting/phone call.
I copied all my timecards showing OOW for about 3 weeks and then applied just in case they attempted to deny the claim. You can certainly apply sooner, especially if you're OOW and getting no response from your manager.
