This exploitation is only possible because business bought our politicians. It didn't use to be this way.
Our time is worth money. Business needs to pay for all hours employees are required to be available. It's irrelevant where we are, and it's tremendously offensive, in addition to the tremendous financial hits, that this congress has decided it's fine to exploit at-home workers this way.
We need to get business off the backs of working people. And this would be a great time to take earned paid vacation if only such a thing was still standard.
