In order to get unemployment, you have to file and be approved based on prior quarters' earnings.
Once that benefit amount is determined and you are approved, then UE will pay you up to that benefit amount after any earnings for that week are deducted.
You apply and are approved for $330 a week. You made $200 at Nuance. UE will pay you $130.
All states differ regarding UE rules, however, so you need to check wtih your state specifically.
Nuance isn't responsible for covering 40 hours if you only had 20.
