From anyone. Not OM, not HR, not Payroll. You just need to file for partial unemployment.
Check your state's requirements for this. NYS happens to have a terrible policy, whereby if you work 4 days you don't qualify (no matter if you worked 15 minutes a day, something which is common with OOW situations with Nuance). Most states are better than this.
Believe me, they NEVER will respond when you ask about unemployment, they would rather you just go away and shut up. It's pretty awful. You need to go ahead and file for partial unemployment and they will receive the papers and they must pay if you are complying with the state law.
Don't keep waiting and hoping they will tell you anything, they won't.
