If we are to get hourly pay until back on their grid and their evil fiesa tool, I will NOT be working even 1 minute beyond my shift or total hours for the week.
I have lost hundreds (and soon to be at least $1000) of dollars because of being paid hourly for straight typing. I have ALWAYS been paid on production from day #1 as a transcriptionist. This hourly pay is a hard kick in the gluteus maximus!
Hey, Nuance, I have some advice for you: To get your clients to stop complaining that their reports are late, tell them the truth. Tell them you are greedy and you are paying your highly skilled and loyal MTs (we are MTs again, folks) peanuts and they will not work for peanuts. Maybe they'll understand.
