second reply - this might be a repeat.
My experience (years) with this is that the MTSO is in the dark too. Even if the MTSO were to call the office, it is possible they will be given some lame excuse (oh, the doctor has a hoarse voice today). Even if that was forbidden in the contract, most MTSOs are not going to bother taking them to court because of the time and expense.
