Sm, I also have a separate computer for work, cost @$150 for the power needed to run the programs. We're easygoing but not to the point of allowing remote tech support workers access to a computer with links and passwords to our financial accounts. Both access and info can be easily sold online.
As for the OP, Belarc Advisor (the basic, not the commercial cloud service) seems okay, been around a while, good reviews in general. Reasonable request. Recommend googling.
