Yes, I appreciate when the dictator makes a "personal" comment to me, too! A simple "thank you" can make my day!
I have a client (since 1994) and he will sometimes dictate, "Mary Smith is a 37-year old ... (long pause) 'pain in the ass' NO NO, DON'T TYPE THAT!" lol
