I agree with you 100%. There are those of us who have been in the field so long we remember when this was a job that paid well and had benefits. The MTSOs started tearing it down in the 80s. Some of the best MTs I have ever worked with found themselves making less than minimum wage with no benefits. The suits kept the cream and gave the rest of us curdled milk. I saw an ad this week for a quality assurance position, no benefits, paying a little over a penny a line. How long before they ask us to pay them? I personally hope this destroys Nuance. Maybe this will be what it takes to bring our jobs back here.
