Received this from my sister who works in a lab at a university hospital who uses Nuance.
Centralized Transcription Services is still experiencing an unscheduled downtime with the Nuance transcription system due to a global cyberattack, which may not be operational until next week. As such, we are immediately suspending all phone and PC/partial dictation to transcription services until further notice.
As we wait for Nuance Transcription Services to become securely operational, our continuing documentation options include:
· Complete notes directly in (redacted). Please contact the Help Desk at (redacted) for assistance.
· Once dictation/transcription services are restored, you may resume dictating to CTS.
Please note, providers already utilizing Dragon are not impacted and can continue to dictate via this product. We will send an update when all services are restored.
