for a schedule of when he's not going to be working. My client's office does that, but sometimes I have to remind them because I'm off-site and they sometimes forget I exist. It's just par for the course of being an IC. I think your making a mountain out of a mole hill. Just ask. No need to be confrontational and "rip him a good one."
