I have 46 years of experience and when I send in a resume, I don't hear a thing back. I guess we are old dinosaurs who used to type on a Selectric and used IBM belts. We couldn't even wear pantsuits but had to wear a dress or a skirt with pantyhose and look professional. Nobody appreciates quality any more. Maybe we SHOULD get some tattoos, color our hair green or purple, and have everything we have pierced. That probably would help us get a job today. We have been doing MT since before most of the QA people were born, yet they are the know-it-alls who criticize our work as well. It really is sad what this whole mess has turned into.
