I'm in the same boat, Sista! Sent out many resumes with 25+ years' experience and barely any responses. You would think that experience would definitely count in this profession, but doesn't seem to be the case. IMHO, there are many more MTs being pumped through MT courses than there are jobs available. The field has become so saturated and, coupled with the fact that our jobs are being outsourced to India and Philippines (Trump, do you hear that?), there are less and less positions for U.S. MTs available. Good luck in your search.
