Older MTs seeking other employment? How to deal - Tired of MT Posted: Jun 15th, 2017 - 9:35 am
with giving references? I'm finally beginning to look for other employment to get out of MT. I'm 63 years old, so there's that. But also, I'm doing MT for a company that bought out my previous employer, so a total of about 10 years between the 2 of them, and since I don't want to tell my current employer I'm looking elsewhere, how is one supposed to give references? The woman I worked for before that is no longer speaking to me, so she's out. That takes me back to the year 2000. Think it's futile to look for a job without references?
