I, too, have a relatively good job with good speakers and lots of work. But I still have to drag myself to the computer every day, force myself to sign in and then to download a job. I am sooo bored/over it/etc. I, too, thought coding would be an excellent way to bring past experience to a new career. However, agism is everywhere, as you said, and I've got about 10 years on you. I could not get state or federal funds to pay for coding courses. I wish you all the best. Keep at it!
