I was expecting a delivery and had to go to the door to sign for it. I left the report I was on on my monitor and I was gone about 4 minutes. A message was on the screen "Are you still working?" I answered and was given the 3rd degree about where I was and why I left a report on the monitor which is a critical HIPAA violation. I told them that I live alone. She proceeded to tell me the what ifs, what if there was an earthquake, what if there was some other kind of disaster and you were killed, someone would find that report on your screen and I was written up for HIPAA violation.
