AST performs QA and Nuance (with whom they subcontract) also does random QA's.
Agree with cherry picking. I've seen upcoming jobs by the few truly good dictators disappear into thin air from the cue, even though those jobs had the same priority as other jobs before and after them. Not all the time, but I have seen it happen frequently.
