I finally am taking classes for billing and coding. Should be finished in September. Have to work until then and so until then, I am thankful every day for my low-paying transcription job. The pay gets me by, but the work is not consistent. Cannot wait to be paid hourly and have piles of work on my desk! May not be easy and may take a while to switch careers but it will be worth it! So that's my plan but am so sad to see transcription dying the slow death it is, I love it and wish I could continue but I simply cannot make ends meet with an unreliable paycheck.
