A few years ago I had a (real) MI. Went through the cardiac cath procedures, etc.
A couple of weeks later, kept my "followup" appointment. The doc sat at a computer terminal, asking me questions.
Then he was called away and I seized the opportunity to see what he had been entering in my case, which was NOTHING that I had actually told him.
The picture he painted was of someone who required ongoing care. when the reality was that I could function independently with no further issues...
I might also need further procedures, when in fact I did not.
DISGUST doesn't begin to cover my feelings.
