If this is the company I assume it is, the employee handbook lists "not following supervisor's directions" as a reason for immediate termination. That's pretty broad, intentionally to be sure, but I would assume not showing up for an assigned weekend would fall under this blanket rule for compliance. I would also think any retaliation, UE benefits, etc., as a result of being fired for this would depend on your state labor laws - if you could even prove this was the reason you were fired. But, I'm not sure what would happen if you didn't see your name on the weekend rotation list and didn't log in! ;)
