Amazon - rose is rose

Posted: May 9th, 2017 - 2:01 am

Since there seems to be a whole lot of NJA going on, may I offer a suggestion to help make the time between jobs go a little faster?  On Amazon Prime there are 2 seasons of "The Surgeons" that I found fascinating (about 20 episodes in all).  These docs work at Canadian hospitals and many specialties are represented.  I know we've all transcribed various procedures, but I'd never actually seen a TRAM flap done, a lung transplant, various joint replacements, a hand ripped in two by a rope burn and just lots and lots of good stuff.  Each episode is only 20-22 minutes; besides the actual procedures, the docs provide some insight on their chosepen scialty, their family life and such.  Good stuff!
