Revamp your resume to highlight years of experience without being so specific about the experience. Explain more about the reports - psych, ortho, neuro, etc. You learned many specialties in the CS course. Review your course materials. Maybe take the CS speech recognition course at the graduate rate. Read The Language of Medicine, other textbooks (interlibrary loan is a great resource or may be able to get from an AHDI member or another CS grad). Take the RHDS/CHDS exams if not certified. Network with AHDI members. I find the best jobs are not advertised but hiring done through word of mouth recommendations, often by other AHDI members.
