ICA - plural? - KerriKP

Posted: Apr 28th, 2017 - 5:35 pm

Okay, I have an EFL dictator giving results of an angiogram, and he says that there is a "moderate degree of athersclerotic disease in the ICAs bilaterally."

For me, given the context, ICA is internal carotid artery, which is a paired artery, and therefore, I'm about 95% sure it should not be pluralized and mostly looking for confirmation. Thanks all.
