The Department of State Hospitals-Atascadero is a secure public sector hospital. We are located on the beautiful Central Coast of California in the city of Atascadero.
The Medical Transcriber position includes the ability to accurately transcribe a variety of medical record reports, which are of average difficulty. A VALID TYPING CERTIFICATE FROM A FIVE (5) MINUTE TYPING TEST WITH A MINIMUM 45 NET WPM WITHIN THE LAST FOUR YEARS IS REQUIRED.
