Career Step (Canscribe too for that matter) wants to continue to crank out graduates, ones with low standards for what is acceptable for pay and working conditions apparently. Knowing what I know about MT and the demise brought on by corporate greed by the large MTSOs and the hospitals and clinics who perpetuate it by choosing to outsource/offshore work to the large MTSOs where many MTs are treated horribly and paid much less than what they deserve, I most certainly would not choose to study MT. The pay and working conditions of large MTSOs has a trickle down effect on the smaller MTSOs to the point where it is a rarity to have a decent MTSO to work for now.
