Ladies, I quit Imedx as an MT last August and I now work in a cancer registry doing an entry level follow up job remotely while I'm earning my CIM degree. I'll be 50 this year. I also graduate in December. I did transcription for 30 years so I understand how bad it is. I don't work weekends or holidays and I get Christmas bonuses and I have a supportive American employer. My point is: Don't give up on yourselves! Get out of that wretched, abusive career no matter what you have to do - it will be worth it in the end.
