I'm not sure the public pays a hefty price tag, except maybe if the facility has to pay fines for out of TAT and passes the fines onto the consumers/patients. I'm pretty sure that facilities who contract with MTSOs can fine the MTSO (that is pay less for their transcription services) when it's the MTSOs fault that their dictation is out of TAT.
