I've been doing MT for about 17 years, not sure how much longer I can manage. I wish I would have pursued nursing school long ago but always found some excuse. Now my kids are grownish (15, 17, 19) and I feel like I'm just too old to pursue anything else (and the brain is not what it used to be). I've often thought waiting tables would bring in more money than what I'm making at MT these days. If you have the desire and motivation, for sure pursue LPN in August -you'll have so many more job options! Good luck with the job hunt.
