Bogus jobs on this board - transcriber Posted: Mar 18th, 2017 - 5:59 am
What has happened to this board in recent years? Last weekend, there was a job posted for a transcriber for general transcription. I applied and received an E-mail from them on Monday along with a "trial dictation." I spent an hour on Monday transcribing it; a good transcription by me by the way and E-mailed my transcription job back to the woman who contacted me (within a 24-hour timeframe). Then on Tuesday, I look at the jobs on this site and it had "been removed." I never heard anything back from them. So in other words, they wasted an hour of my time with no feedback or reason(s) for deleting their job wanted ad from this board. I no longer trust this site if they are posting bogus jobs. Seems there used to be insightful transcription information from transcribers on here; now it seems to be all about politics. What is going on?
