The sentence reads:
The patient had an onset of thoracic spine pain, which is neurofractory to multiple conservative measures including physical therapy.
It sounds like he is saying neurofractory, but I cannot find that or neurofactory (Google suggested neurofactory, but then when I clicked on it it said it could not be found).
