Shorthand works in all Word applications and is more functional than Words Autocorrect. If you want to transfer your Shorthand to another computer, you could probably contact Shorthand and ask for instructions on how to do this. When I bought my new PC 3 years ago, SpeedType charged me a small fee ($25) with instructions on how to move it from my old PC to my new PC. I actually had my PC guy, from whom I bought my new custom PC, do it for me. I'm lazy like that.
