First, your view of others in this field is quite demeaning.

Second, a bankruptcy lawyer would not come on the board and offer anyone career advice. If you've visited other boards (non-MT) you'll find that experts who provide information pretty much stick to their own field of expertise. And of course, they would only be offering general information such as the different types of bankruptcy filings that are available, what assets the individual can shield from creditors, etc.

Stop being such a Debbie Downer, please, and stop demeaning people who wish to remain in this field or who perhaps really CANNOT realistically explore other career opportunities. We have members of this forum who are into their 60s now and a career change simply isn't feasible for them at their time of life. We have others who are disabled and cannot get to, much less be hired for, many jobs that are out there.

Try adding a pinch of understanding and compassion to your personality. It would do you a world of good.
