Offers - Lose the attitude

Posted: Feb 28th, 2017 - 11:36 pm In Reply to: Haha...boycott!! Girlcott too...another joke! - goingnowhere

I always thought the employer made the salary offer, not the other way around. No one in the outside world would ever go into a job interview with that kind of attitude, there are ways to negotiate salary without being belligerent. Decline the offer if you think it's an insult but there's no need to be rude. Believe it or not, companies have budgets and they can only charge the client so much or they will lose their business. There seems to be a lot of entitlement going on here. No employer cares about hiring someone who comes in thinking they're all that, and for every job they're are people who want it or need it bad enough to take the offer. Anyone who can afford to pick and choose is very lucky.
