My facility has used Epic for 4 years. We went from a department of 12 down to 2 QA staff. Everything is outsourced now to the vendor everyone hates. I agree that your manager should keep you in the loop but some don't. I would suggest trying to find something else in-house, don't panic but be aware that there probably will be some downsizing in transcription There are many other jobs involved with the conversion and clinical documentation, at least there were at my facility
