It will never change there - Ex-KSMT

What you are experiencing is the norm for KS. I worked there for 7, almost 8 years and left about 5 years ago, and that was one of the several reasons why I left. I was on a very large acute care account that was always nonstop busy with literally hundreds of dictations a day. Then, during my last 6-12 months there, work suddenly started drying up for no apparent reason whatsoever. This was a huge hospital account that was a 100% outsource to KS (meaning we did all of their work and the hospital had no in-house MTs), so there was absolutely no reason why the workflow should have suddenly stopped/slowed way down like that. I begged and pleaded for months for a secondary/backup account and all of my requests were either refused or outright ignored. It finally got so bad that I had no choice but to find another job and left. There was no way I was going to be able to pay the bills with the pathetic amount of work that I was getting at KS. They clearly didn't care that I left, even after almost 8 years of loyalty and dedication to them. When I sent them my resignation, the only response that I got was basically "thanks for letting us know." I was absolutely disgusted.

I would be even more wary of KS these days. They are in very serious financial trouble and who knows how long it will be before they totally sink.
