Hello! I am looking to go back to school and become a medical coder. I've been doing A LOT of research and still find myself a little muddled about the direction to go in: AAPC vs AHIMA and then of course....which certification! I seem to be leaning towards AHIMA for the CCS certification through Career Step. Any advise or guidance is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
